    With the start of Gold fleet racing in several classes today at ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères, the pressure has begun to intensify for the world's best Olympic-class sailors.

    US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider 470's continue to have a strong showing in Hyères, as breezes in the mid-teens and waves up to 4 feet returned to the venue of the final ISAF Sailing World Cup event of 2014.

    The US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider enjoyed a strong start to the final event in the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Cup series, with American athletes currently in the top ten in the Men's and Women's 470, Laser Radial, and Finn.

    Selection Events Released for 2015 US Pan American Games Team
    The US Olympic Sailing Committee (OSC) has released the list of selection events for the 2015 United States Pan American Games Team, which will compete at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games.
    Day 6 (Medal Races) - ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami
    Medal Race Day at ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami brought with it added pressure, close racing, and a renewed breeze that was a welcome sight to all competitors. The US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider added to its medal haul with a gold in the Laser Radial, silver in the 49er, and bronze in the men's 470.

    Friday marked the close of competition for Paralympic athletes, and the US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider made it to the podium in two of three classes.
    Day 3 - ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami
    The absence of suitable breeze in the morning on Day 3 of racing was followed by heavy rains in the afternoon, a combination that ultimately scuttled the attempts of regatta officials to complete any races. As a result, scores and standings remain unchanged for all competitors at ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami, and the focus is now squarely on tomorrow.

    Light air returned to Miami, and forced delays of racing in all classes on Day 2. However, American athletes still delivered strong performances in the tricky conditions, and are in the top five overall in seven of thirteen classes, and are in the top ten in ten classes.

    With a win in the final race at the 2013 Laser Radial World Championship, US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider athlete Paige Railey captured a bronze medal. Racing took place Oct. 1-7, in Rizhao, China, where a total 77 athletes competed in the series, which consisted of a six-race qualifying series and a six-race final series.

    Sailing World Cup Miami to Celebrate 25th Running

    US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider announced an extension of its partnership with Jaguar Therapeutics of Miami, Fla., naming its new 3200 square-foot facility an official fitness center of the team. The company’s principal, Chris Herrera, was named the Team’s medical coordinator and head physical therapist.

    2013 U.S. Youth Championships Serves as Qualifier to 2014 U.S. Youth Worlds Team
    US Sailing’s Olympic Sailing Committee (OSC) and Youth Championships Committee announced that the 2013 U.S. Youth Championships will serve as a qualification event for the 2014 U.S. Youth Worlds Team. Hosted by Corpus Christi Yacht Club (Corpus Christi, Texas) from August 12-16, the regatta will expand to host more youth sailors and to include seven classes: 29er, Club 420, Formula 16, International 420, Laser, Laser Radial and RS:X.
