Equipment for 2011 US SAILING ISAF Youth World Qualifier Announced
Portsmouth, R.I. (November 1, 2010) – US SAILING’s Olympic Sailing Committee announced today the equipment for the 2011 US SAILING International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Youth World Qualifier, which will be held January 14-17, 2011 at Houston Yacht Club in La Porte, Texas. All entrants are required to bring their own boat for competition in the following seven events:
• Singlehanded boys: Laser Radial
• Singlehanded girls: Laser Radial
• Doublehanded boys: International 420
• Doublehanded girls: International 420
• Boys boards: RS:X
• Girls boards: RS:X
• Open skiff: 29er
Although there will be a multihull discipline contested at the 2011 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship, the multihull class will be selected by resume, to be submitted to Olympics@ussailing.org no later than January 4, 2011.
